We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business for an experienced TIG Welder to join their production team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder who takes pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
- Salary: £29,725
- Day shifts only, no weekends
- Hours of work: Mon to Thurs 7am to 4pm, Fri 7am to 12pm
- Location: Solihull
- Immediate start available
Responsibilities:
- Carry out TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel.
- Work to engineering drawings and procedures.
- Inspect own work to ensure high quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and workshop efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven TIG welding experience (aluminium & stainless steel essential).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
- Fabrication/fitting experience (advantageous).
Desirable:
- BS 4872 welder competence.
- Additional welding or lean manufacturing training.
