Job Description
Our client is a mid-sized family owned regional contractor with offices across the South and South West England. Operating mainly in the education, leisure and commercial sectors they have secured a significant pipeline of work and are thus looking to add to their professional team. \\nSite Manager running projects varying in size from £3 – £25 Million you will oversee daily operations on site, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\nTake full responsibility for managing the construction site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.\\nSupervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.\\nMonitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.\\nEnforce health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety on site.\\nConduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out to specification and quality standards..\\nManage site resources efficiently, including sub-contractors, materials, and equipment.\\nIdentify and address potential issues proactively, providing solutions to mitigate risks.\\nMaintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation.\\n\\nEssential Skills & Experience:\\nProven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.\\nStrong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and health & safety regulations.\\nExceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams.\\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.\\nAbility to interpret construction drawings and specifications.\\nProficiency in site management software and tools.\\nRelevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card, NVQ Level 6/7, or equivalent)
