Are you an experienced Shopfitter with a passion for bringing new designs to life? Are you hands on and handy with a jigsaw? Do you want to work for a reputable business in the West Midlands? Then this could be the role for you!

Our client who is headquartered in the Wolverhampton area are looking for experienced Shopfitters to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth! You will mainly cover the Midlands area but will support the wider team across the UK on an ADHOC basis, which will include some overnight stays.

Benefits:

  • Shift rate - £100 - £120.
  • A.Y.E or CIS available.
  • 28 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holidays) for P.A.Y.E employees.
  • Pension scheme for P.A.Y.E employees.
  • Night shifts.
  • Paid accommodation (where required).
  • Uniform provided.
  • Transport to and from site provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install shelving, racking systems, and display units as per client specifications and blueprints, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Assemble and install fixtures and fittings including shelving, counters, display units, and more.
  • Follow detailed layout plans and floor plans to maximize space and product presentation.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that all installations are completed to a high standard of quality, functionality, and appearance.
  • Conduct minor maintenance tasks as needed to ensure all installations remain in top condition.

Skills and Experience:

  • (Essential) Previous experience as a Shopfitter.
  • (Essential) Must have a CSCS card.
  • (Essential) Access to some of your own tools.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and shop-fitting equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of fitting materials, shelving systems, and retail display techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards within the retail fit-out industry.
  • (Preferred) Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Must have your own UTR number if opting for CIS.
