Our client in the Birmingham area is looking for a new Production Manager to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!

Role & Responsibilities
- Organise and oversee all aspects of production to meet operational targets.
- Understand customer requirements and adjust production schedules accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with and improvement of company health and safety standards.
- Manage personnel requirements to meet production needs effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance production KPIs.
- Align working hours with production demands to ensure efficiency.
- Monitor and manage tooling requirements to support uninterrupted operations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new products and processes.
- Oversee maintenance schedules for plant and equipment and participate in technical/maintenance meetings.
- Collaborate with the Production Director and other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing systems, including experience operating in a ‘Kanban & Just-in-Time’ environment.
- Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Highly organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and professional.
- Computer literate with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
- Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and the ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
- Flexibility in tasks and duties to ensure adequate cover when required.
- Strong communication skills with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
