About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role based in Preston, offering hands-on experience in building services design across a variety of sectors. You will work closely with senior engineers on projects from concept to completion, assisting in technical design, producing detailed reports, and contributing to office-based and client-facing tasks.
This role offers clear progression opportunities, with the potential to develop into an Intermediate Engineer, and eventually into Senior or Principal Engineer positions for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in producing electrical building services designs.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and detailed reports.
- Support the design and delivery of client projects from concept through to completion.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Carry out office-based engineering tasks and site support as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with project standards.
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge under the guidance of senior staff.
