Job title: Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Essex / Kent / Surrey

Terms: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Salary/rate: Salary is paying between £13.00 + Package (Door to Door Travel Paid)

About the company: A well-established soft services provider who are currently recruiting for a Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative that holds a full-UK drivers\’ licence to work across some of my clients\’ sites covering mainly Essex area.

About the role:

• Mon-Fri (Days) working 08:00 – 16:00
• 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Company Pension scheme
• Door to Door paid travel.
• Van / Fuel Card provided or Options of a 5k car allowance as an alternative.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of outdoor spaces to identify maintenance needs.
• Operate and oversee the use of various grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and chainsaws.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and in good working condition.
• Perform hands-on grounds maintenance tasks as required.

Candidate requirements:

• The ideal candidate is client facing (job activities that involve direct interaction or contact with a client or customer).
• The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role.
• The ideal candidate will have a full-UK drivers\’ licence with under 6 points.
• Experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative.
