Options Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Fire & Security business for an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with experience across fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and emergency lighting systems to join a reputable company offering long-term career development, ongoing training, and excellent earning potential through overtime and call-out payments. The majority of works are based across London and the Home Counties, with occasional travel further afield when required.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and repair of:
- Fire alarm systems
- Intruder alarm systems
- CCTV systems
- Access control systems
- Emergency lighting
Requirements
- Proven experience installing and servicing fire and security systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of relevant fire and security regulations and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence

- FIA training qualifications
- Electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds)

Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
Call-Out & Overtime
- Standby payments: £25 per weekday night
- £50 per weekend day
- £100 Bank Holidays
- Door-to-door payment for out-of-hours call-outs
- Overtime paid at:
- Time and a half Monday-Saturday
- Double time Sundays & Bank Holidays
Travel & Subsistence
Occasional UK travel may be required. When working away: £100 net subsistence per night, Premier Inn accommodation provided, Breakfast included.
Holiday
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing annually up to 25 days.
