We are working in partnership with a well-established architectural practice to recruit an experienced Senior Architectural Technician for a permanent role delivering industrial and commercial projects across the UK. This is a senior-level position, ideal for someone with a proven track record in technical design, project coordination, and site delivery. If you are confident taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with consultants and design teams to develop workable design solutions
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and relevant standards
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues during construction
- Conduct site visits and attend meetings to monitor progress and address on-site challenges
- Prepare accurate schedules, specifications, and reports as required
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years post-qualification experience in an architectural technician role
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction detailing
- Proven ability to manage projects independently from technical design to site completion
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Comfortable leading technical coordination and site stages with minimal supervision
