If so, this role could be for you.An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Compliance Officer to join a well-established legal firm.Benefits Salary up to £60k DOEMonday to Friday 9am to 5pm 35 hours per week with one hour for lunch25 days of holiday + bank holidaysOn site parkingDuties and responsibilities Reviewing, updating, maintaining and developing the firm\’s risk and compliance policies and proceduresConducting compliance audits and assessmentsProviding in-house compliance guidance and training to all employees on Money LaunderingDealing with day-to-day queries arising during client on boarding and general money laundering queriesAssisting the Finance Department in ensuring continued compliance with AML regulationsAssisting our COLP and COFA officers as relevant to ensure firm wide complianceKeeping up to date with all regulatory developments affecting the legal sectorAssisting our COLP and MLRO officers in investigating and addressing any compliance breachesLiaising with the SRA and other regulatory bodies where necessarySkills and experience required Proven experience as a Compliance Officer within the Legal EnvironmentExpert knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations and Anti Money Laundering RegulationsAbility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.Highly organisedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong IT skillsApply Now!
