£56,000-£57,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Requirements:

• 18^th Edition (7671)
• Previous Shift Leader/Supervisor experience
• HVAP experience beneficial

About the company:

A well-established maintenance provider known for prestigious contracts is recruiting a Shift Leader HVAP for a blue-chip building in Central London. The company promotes staff internally and seeks a strong candidate to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure routine PPM on all M&E plant as per schedules and asset lists.
• Complete reactive tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement, including concessionary stores and fabric items.
• Manage sub-contractors to meet contract requirements; oversee work approvals and safety during repairs.
• Quickly remedy plant faults and defects to keep systems operational.
• Maintain availability of spare parts; provide parts lists and time estimates for remedial works.
• Complete all paperwork related to reactive and breakdown works promptly and update CAFM system.
• Prepare, review, and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe work practices.
• Provide a safe and healthy working environment, including PPE and uniforms.
• Supervise and monitor sub-contractor work on site.
• Ensure tasks are completed as assigned, with proper H&S awareness.
• Maintain awareness and compliance with KPIs/SLA\’s.
• Update Computer-Based Maintenance systems like Maximo; close tickets with accurate data.
• Ensure site activities are documented via near miss reports, risk assessments, and records; escalate non-compliance.
• Monitor environmental conditions using BMS system to maintain internal standards.
• Complete shift reports to standard.

Candidate Requirements:

• Client-facing experience preferred.
• Leadership experience in facilities maintenance essential.
• Strong building services background.
• Previous Shift Leader/Supervisor experience required.
