We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run electrical contractor that partners with leading FM companies across a variety of commercial sites. Known for their high standards of workmanship and strong client relationships, they are now looking to expand their team with a skilled and motivated Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a growing business that values quality, reliability, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and remedial works across commercial properties
- Perform testing and inspection duties in line with current regulations and company standards
- Complete documentation including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works Certificates using company software
- Operate workforce management systems via mobile device
- Maintain high standards of timekeeping, communication, and customer service
- Work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours, weekend, and away-from-home assignments
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to completing scheduled works safely and efficiently
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial electrical work
- Minimum 3 years' experience in testing and inspection
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations
- Gold ECS Card
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check
Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing, fault finding, and certification
- Comfortable using computers and mobile-based work management systems
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
