We're currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client on a long-term temporary basis, working 2 days per week at their site in Exeter. The role would suit either an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who is confident carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site
- Respond to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault finding and basic repairs
- Ensure plant, equipment and building services are maintained to a high standard
- Complete maintenance records and paperwork
- Work safely and follow site procedures
- Attend the Cardiff site approximately once a month
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance engineering experience
- Electrical or mechanical background
- Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently
- Happy to travel to Cardiff once a month
