Responsibilities:

  • Produce Electrical building services engineering designs from concept design through to construction issue, in line with our ethos and undertake site supervision of design projects.
  • Prepare feasibility studies.
  • Supervise work and design quality of more junior members of the team.
  • Execute projects within defined design, programme and cost parameters.
  • Carry out designs on a variety of buildings within different sectors i.e., schools, offices, leisure facilities, Public Authorities, Government buildings, industrial, etc.
  • Prepare technical specifications, reports, and drawings.
  • Represent company at meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Conduct site surveys, inspections, and condition surveys where appropriate.
  • Promote and incorporate sustainable design wherever possible.
  • Participate in design quality reviews/audits as required.
  • Maintain records and archives to company standards.
  • Manage own workload and that of junior staff.
  • Assist with processes for the development of staff to enhance their skills.
