We are recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a growing and highly successful business operating across technical sales, e-commerce, manufacturing and industrial supply. This is not a purely managerial role. It's an opportunity for someone who leads from the front, sets the pace commercially and enjoys being directly involved in conversations, deals and strategy.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for driving day-to-day sales performance while leading and developing an established inbound sales team. A core part of the role will also be remaining personally active in sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop an established inbound sales team
- Drive day-to-day sales performance across multiple brands and revenue streams
- Personally handle and convert high-value, technical and solution-led enquiries
- Support customers through consultative, problem-solving sales conversations
- Develop and execute sales and commercial strategy in line with wider business objectives
- Set the tone for pace, professionalism, accountability and commercial urgency across the team
- Ensure enquiries, quotations and opportunities are followed through effectively and converted wherever possible
- Identify opportunities to drive proactive sales activity alongside inbound demand
- Work closely with marketing, operations and product teams to align commercial activity and maximise performance
- Support the continued growth of specialist and technical product solutions within the business
Skills/Experience required:
- Previous experience in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Internal Sales Manager or Commercial Manager position
- A track record of leading sales performance within a technical, industrial, engineering (magnetics industry preferred but not essential)
- Confidence selling solutions rather than just products, particularly where consultative or technical conversations are involved
- A proactive, commercially focused mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- The ability to lead from the front and remain actively involved in deals and customer conversations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage team performance, sales pipelines and follow-up activity effectively
- A results-driven approach with the confidence to take ownership of targets, performance and continuous improvement
