A Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer is required to join a new contract supporting Birmingham City University. You will be responsible for the gas maintenance and servicing of 26 buildings located across the university estate in Birmingham.

The Role:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on building services equipment
- Attending reactive and emergency breakdowns
- Completing inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with agreed service levels
- Completing job sheets electronically via tablet or smartphone
- Maintaining accurate site records and logbooks
- Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise equipment life
- Proactively identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption and recommending improvements
- Working in full compliance with health, safety and company procedures
- Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships with university stakeholders
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
On-call rota: 1 in 4 (likely to move to 1 in 7)
On-call paid at an additional weekly rate, with overtime paid on top
