Site Engineer Civil Engineering Barnstaple | August Start | 10-Month Contract | £300 - £340 per day (CIS available) Are you an experienced Site Engineer or Site Agent looking for your next contract with a well-established and respected civil engineering contractor?

We are recruiting for a key role on a significant new pumping station and rising main project in Barnstaple.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional project team delivering high-quality infrastructure works on a long-term contract.

The Role You will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the project, taking responsibility for engineering activities while supporting the wider site team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include: Setting out and engineering duties on site.

Monitoring and reporting project progress.

Managing and coordinating subcontractors.

Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site.

Identifying and resolving design and engineering challenges alongside the project team.

Supporting the successful delivery of reinforced concrete works, deep drainage, and RC chamber installations.

Requirements To be considered, you must have: Valid CSCS Card SMSTS First Aid certification Previous experience delivering civil engineering projects, ideally involving reinforced concrete, deep drainage, pumping stations, or similar infrastructure works.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and site management skills.
