Options Resourcing - Recruitment Specialists

Location: Southampton

Sector Focus: Construction (Permanent Recruitment)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive Basic + Uncapped Commission

Fancy Building Something Big? Forget spreadsheets in a spare bedroom, this is sales with swagger. At Options Resourcing, we don't just fill jobs, we build careers, close deals, and celebrate wins loudly (there may be bells involved).

We’re on the hunt for a hungry, competitive, no‑fear graduate to join our Southampton office and own the construction desk. If you love the thrill of the chase, the buzz of hitting target, and the idea of your bank balance directly reflecting your hustle, keep reading.

The Role

  • You’ll be the matchmaker of the construction world, pairing brilliant candidates with brilliant businesses, on a permanent placement basis.
  • From picking up the phone and winning new clients, to sourcing top talent and sealing the deal, you’ll own the full 360 sales cycle.
  • No two days will look the same, and every placement is a payday.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Getting on the phone and winning new business - cold calling, pitching and closing
  • Building relationships with clients that keep coming back (and referring more work)
  • Headhunting top construction talent and selling them their next big move
  • Running the full recruitment process - interviews, offers, negotiations, the lot
  • Smashing KPIs and targets (and enjoying the bragging rights that come with it)
  • Becoming the go-to expert on the construction market - rates, trends, who's hiring, who's hot
  • Competing (in a fun way, mostly) with your desk-mates for top biller status

What We’re After

  • A degree - any subject, we'll teach you the recruitment game
  • A natural talker who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone
  • Bags of drive, resilience and a "watch me" attitude
  • A competitive streak - you want to win, not just take part
  • Someone who thrives on targets rather than fears them
  • Sales, customer service or telesales experience is a bonus, not a must
  • A genuine interest in business, people and (eventually) construction
  • UK driving licence - handy for client visits

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Uncapped commission - your effort, your earnings, no ceiling
  • Fast‑track progression - we promote on merit, not tenure
  • Full training from day one - no experience? No problem
  • Regular incentives - lunch clubs, team trips, holidays, prizes for top billers
  • A genuinely fun, high‑energy team who celebrate every win together
  • Great Southampton office, easy to get to, even better people inside it
