We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Investment Manager – Private Equity to join our client's London-based investment team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in originating, executing, and managing private equity investments across a diversified portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have 6–9 years of relevant experience within private equity, investment banking, or a related field, and a strong track record of evaluating and executing transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead evaluation and execution of private equity investments, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, and structuring
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities and portfolio performance
- Prepare investment committee materials and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Actively monitor portfolio companies, including performance analysis, value creation initiatives, and exit planning
- Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, management teams, and co-investors
- Identify and support operational and strategic improvements within portfolio companies
- 6–9 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (LBO, DCF, comparable analysis)
- Demonstrated experience in executing M&A or private equity transactions
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to assess strategic and operational drivers of value
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline (MBA or CFA is a plus)
- Highly proactive and self-driven with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for investing
