We are recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer for a commodity trader working as a part of the DevOps team. This is a Senior / Lead role involving mentoring a team.
The Role:
- Design and development of high quality DevOps solutions as part of a dedicated Kanban team, working closely with fellow team members and other IT professionals.
- 2nd and 3rd line support of DevOps solutions that require remediation and or bug fixes.
- Contribution to creation of overall DevOps strategy and architecture.
- Creation of DevOps epics and stories in response to overall IT needs.
- Lead small and medium sized projects as required, co-ordinating other internal and external resources and ensuring key goals are met.
- Contribute to development and creation of appropriate test cases β both manual and automated.
- Contribution to the development and implementation of IT best practices.
Skills:
- A good general understanding of Windows / Linux, servers, networks, firewalls etc.
- Educated to Degree standard (or equivalent).
- Experience in working within a DevOps team or in an environment where DevOps techniques are widely employed.
