Cash Management - Business Analyst in Cornwall

We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to hire an experienced VP – Senior Business Analyst (Cash Management) to join a regional Transaction Banking technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Business Analyst with deep expertise in Cash Management, Payments, Collections, and Transaction Banking to play a key role in the delivery and enhancement of strategic cash management solutions across the APAC region. The successful candidate will act as a Cash Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) , partnering closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and regional counterparts to drive standardization, digitization, and successful implementation of cash management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Partner closely with business stakeholders to facilitate the standardization of requirements, ensuring alignment with application capabilities while minimizing the need for customizations. Develop a deep understanding of cross-border payments and application functionality to support end-to-end solution design across the payments lifecycle. Work collaboratively with business teams to define future-state operating models and processes that promote digitization, efficiency, and standardization of cash management products and services. Provide business users with regional and global solution recommendations based on extensive knowledge of cash management products, payments ecosystems, and banking application landscapes. Maintain a strong understanding of domestic payment infrastructures and clearing systems across APAC markets. Understand application configurations and assess their impact on system functionality and business processes across multiple countries within the region. Serve as a subject matter expert by maintaining current knowledge of application features, product enhancements, industry developments, and operational processes. Collaborate with systems analysts, developers, and testing teams to ensure business requirements are accurately understood and effectively delivered. Support testing activities by providing guidance on business scenarios, validating outcomes, and ensuring solutions meet business expectations. Assess and manage issues identified during testing phases, determining whether they qualify as defects or change requests and assigning appropriate business severity. Required Experience
