The primary goal of this position is to assist in teaching the necessary concepts to students in grades 9-12 within the designated subject matter.
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
- Provide tutoring as scheduled, with an emphasis on fostering student confidence and curiosity
- Post and market availability of tutoring along with schedule
- Maintain a consistent schedule as arranged with their supervisor
- Instruct students in the Spanish Language within a small classroom environment and 1 on 1 situation
- Meet with students to discuss areas of development and counsel students in the subject area of concern
- Monitor student performance in class work, attendance, and discipline as needed
- Perform related duties as assigned
We’ll need you to have the following requirements:
- Proficient and demonstrable command of the subject area
- Proficient computer knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft software
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior tutoring experiences are highly desirable
Pay: £19.00 per hour
