Job Title: Site Manager – Retail Store (Air Con Installation) Location: Peterlee Start Date: Monday, 24th February 2025 Duration: 2 Weeks Working Hours: Day Shifts Pay Rate: £275 per shift Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 2-week project in Peterlee, managing the installation of a new air conditioning unit in a retail store. The role involves supervising specialist subcontractors, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining health and safety compliance on-site. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project runs on schedule. * Oversee specialist subcontractors carrying out the air conditioning installation. * Ensure all health and safety regulations and site procedures are followed. * Conduct site inductions and maintain progress reports. * Liaise with the project management team and client representatives. Requirements: * Black CSCS Card (Manager level) * SMSTS Certification * 3-Day First Aid * Fire Marshal Certification * Asbestos Awareness * Hot Works Certificate (Online course – can be completed before starting if needed) * Experience in managing subcontractors on retail fitout projects.
