Job title: Site Manager / Working Foreman (Joinery), Retail Fit-Out, 2 Weeks Location: Ilford, Essex (IG1) Job type: Contract / Temporary, 2 weeks Rate: £280 per [day/shift] Start date: 06.10.26 Hours: Days Site Manager / Working Foreman (Joinery Background), Vodafone Store, Ilford Optio Resourcing is looking for a hands-on Site Manager / Working Foreman for a 2-week retail fit-out project at a Vodafone store in Ilford, starting 06/10. This is a working role. You'll run the site and also be on the tools, so a strong joinery background is essential. The role * Running a live retail store fit-out from start to handover over a 2-week programme. * Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades on site. * Carrying out joinery works yourself: fixtures, counters, partitions, finishes and snagging. * Keeping site safe, tidy and compliant: RAMS, permits, site induction and daily briefings. * Reporting progress daily to the project manager, including photos and updates. * Completing snagging and handover to programme. What we're looking for * A joinery background (time-served joiner or shopfitter preferred). * Previous experience as a Site Manager, Supervisor or Working Foreman on retail fit-out or shopfitting projects. * Experience working in live or customer-facing environments. * Organised, reliable and able to work to tight programmes.
