I’m working with a new client on a complex, city-centre project starting in Leeds at the beginning of May. We’re looking for an experienced Banksman with strong traffic management skills and solid construction knowledge to join the site team for the entire duration.
Due to the nature of this project, the client will be interviewing all candidates before offering the role, so we’re only looking for people who take real pride in their work and can represent themselves well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee traffic movements on a live city-centre site
- Direct vehicles and deliveries safely and efficiently
- Communicate clearly with site operatives, delivery drivers, and management
- Support site operations by keeping vehicle movements controlled and compliant
- Adapt to flexible working hours when required
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- Banksman/signaller qualification
- Extensive traffic management experience (ideally in busy city environments)
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Solid knowledge of general construction practices
- Flexibility to work varied hours depending on site needs
- Slinging/lifting qualification (preferred but not essential)
