We are looking for an experienced PCS7 Commissioning Engineer for a 6‐month freelance assignment based in Liverpool, with an initial 2‐week onboarding in Amsterdam. You will support the commissioning of a new PCS7 installation while also reviewing and analysing an existing legacy site located close by. The work involves hands‐on commissioning, software review, documentation validation, and translating findings from the old site into the new implementation.
Responsibilities
- Commission a new Siemens PCS7‐based installation
- Analyse current PCS7 software configuration and system setup
- Validate, update, and align customer documentation
- Investigate and assess an existing legacy installation ~200 m from the new site
- Transfer insights and lessons learned from the old site into the new project
- Collaborate closely with the client onsite to support commissioning success
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with Siemens PCS7 commissioning (non‐negotiable)
- Knowledge of electrical systems and basic instrumentation (e.g., valves, I/O)
- Experience in industrial commissioning environments
- Accurate documentation and validation skills
