Be at the very core of our growth journey!
Optimus have been going from strength to strength over the past few years, and are on an ambitious growth journey to become the leading staffing firm for Tech, Engineering and Life Sciences across Germany, Benelux and Switzerland.
We want someone to join our small-and-mighty Internal Recruitment team to help push this ambitious growth forward by finding the next generation of Optimus consultants.
Our model has always been to create superstars, rather than hire seniors, and we\’re proud of our pathways within the company as a result – with our entire management team being grown organically from trainee level, right here at Optimus.
So, what would you do?
Find the next generation of consultants that share our values of Ambition, Energy, Hard Work and Accountability.
You would do this primarily by phone. Our inbound applications regularly reach into the hundreds, so checking in with all applicants, leaving no stone unturned and assessing if they have what it takes to thrive in the rollercoaster environment of agency recruitment.
But it\’s not just on the phone. Social media, university outreach, advertising, meet-ups. The floor is yours: We\’re looking for someone to bring fresh ideas, energy and creative approaches to find the very best people.
Ok so I\’m finding the best people, then what?
Finding people is really just the start. You would then take complete control of the entire interview process. From screening to interview, applying assessments where necessary and guiding applicants through every step to final interview, offer delivery and onboarding.
You are the go-to person for everyone involved. You\’ll work closely with managers and directors to plan their team expansions and regularly feed back, and importantly, be in constant dialogue with all applicants to ensure they have a world class interview experience – no matter the outcome.
For successful applicants, your on-boarding responsibilities mean making sure they have the best possible first day, week and month at Optimus and really feel at home from (even before) Day 1.
Sounds good, but what do I need?
The values: Ambition, Energy, Hard Work and Accountability. Internal Recruitment is fun but tough . A lot of calls, a lot of disappointment, but the upside of genuinely building the very fabric of the company, when it all goes well.
The ambition to contribute and make that difference is a must. As is the drive, energy and work ethic to make it happen. Accountability for yourself but also the ability to hold stakeholders to account is crucial.
If you\’re looking for a real superpower: Speaking German is a huge advantage!
Ok, I\’m up for it! But what\’s in it for me?
First and foremost, job satisfaction. The hires you make build the present and future of an ever-growing company. The consultants you bring on board learn life-changing skills, going from enthusiastic graduates to business leaders and directors. All because you gave them a shot.
You\’re working with senior managers and directors every day and most importantly, your work is making a real difference across all levels.
Of course, it\’s not all about that though. Commission on every hire (of course), incentive trips abroad every quarter, team socials, all-company parties. It\’s all waiting for you.
Most importantly, the people . Our organic growth has bonded a team that genuinely want each other (and the company) to succeed. They\’re high achieving, supportive and collaborative with a real atmosphere of all being in it together.
So … what are you waiting for?
