About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Contract Recruitment Expert to join our growing team, focusing on the sourcing, placement, and management of contract/freelance talent within STEM markets. You'll own the full contract recruitment lifecycle - from business development and requirement-gathering through to candidate delivery and contractor care - while working closely with our specialist divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end contract recruitment process: sourcing, screening, submitting, and placing contract candidates
- Build and develop client relationships, identifying new contract opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Maintain a strong, engaged pipeline of contract/freelance candidates across STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with both clients and candidates
- Ensure compliance with relevant contractor legislation (e.g. IR35, right-to-work)
- Provide ongoing contractor care to support retention and repeat business
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify cross-selling opportunities between permanent and contract desks
Your Profile
- Proven track record in contract/freelance recruitment, ideally within STEM markets
- Strong understanding of contractor compliance and legislation (IR35, right-to-work, etc.)
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Confident, self-motivated, and target-driven with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-moving desk
- Experience working with international clients (DACH/North America) advantageous
