I’m supporting a key client with an urgent requirement for an Aseptic Specialist / Manager to join their antigen manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement a site-wide contamination control strategy
- Lead efforts to optimize aseptic manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
- Conduct deep root cause analysis (RCA) on contamination and batch failures
- Drive improvements in aseptic behaviours and GMP practices
- Support manufacturing continuity and prevent batch loss
- Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on aseptic techniques, procedures, and best practices to maintain a culture of continuous improvement and compliance
- Work cross-functionally with Production, QA, Microbiology & Engineering teams
- Provide hands-on guidance during maintenance shutdown and restart activities
- Develop and embed a robust, sustainable operating program through to 2027
Requirements:
- 10 years’+ experience in aseptic / sterile manufacturing environments
- Strong background in biologics / antigen manufacturing (essential)
- Proven experience resolving contamination and sterility challenges
- Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Solid understanding of purification processes and GMP standards
- Ability to operate in a hands-on, delivery-focused capacity
- Strong stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary teams
