We have an exciting opportunity working within both new and existing projects, creating bespoke, safe, and cost-effective engineering solutions for our clients within the energy sector. This role requires candidates who have a full understanding of the structural integrity management of offshore structures in the oil and gas sector, and are able to utilize hand calculations and analysis software to support our clients’ assets. Strong technical report writing and interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication within the project team.
Key Duties:- Identify the scope of work required
- Contribute to project plans and schedules
- Identify potential concerns during projects or studies
- Develop cost-effective, fit-for-purpose engineering solutions that are safe and add value, addressing operational and maintenance issues in design, and liaising with colleagues for optimal solutions
- Conduct surveys, both onshore and offshore
- Supervise team members' work

Experience / Competence:We seek candidates with offshore structural engineering experience, particularly in brownfield work and asset integrity management, familiar with API, AISC, DNV, and ISO codes. Experience with inplace and spectral fatigue analysis using SESAM is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of offshore structural integrity management and be proficient in hand calculations and analysis software to support client assets. Excellent technical report writing and communication skills are required. We also consider candidates with extensive civil/structural engineering and design experience, a strong theoretical background, and familiarity with FE analysis software such as ABAQUS. Knowledge of international design codes like API, AISC, DNV, and EURCODE is advantageous.
Qualifications:BSc or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
