Optimus Plus now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Aberdeen on a full-time employee basis. An excellent salary + benefits package along with a hybrid working model is available for the successful candidate. Key Duties
- Identify the scope of work required
- Input to project plans and schedules.
- Identify areas of concern during any project or study.
- Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
- Undertake Surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential)
- Supervise the time of others

Experience / Competence
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- Offshore certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in consultancy and process engineering design covering Feasibility, Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Technical leadership experience in developing process design deliverables, including philosophies, calculations, simulations, and technical reports.
- Experience in Decommissioning and Energy Transition projects (e.g. Hydrogen and Carbon Capture) is highly desirable.
- Ability to support multidisciplinary engineering teams and interface effectively with clients and stakeholders.
