Looking to take the next step in your accountancy career? Our client is seeking a Semi‑Senior Accountant to join their growing team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients whilst developing your technical knowledge, client management skills and long‑term career within practice.
The Role
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
- Producing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing personal tax returns
- Bookkeeping and management accounts
- Supporting senior team members with client assignments
- Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
- Assisting with the development of trainee staff
About You
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice
- AAT qualification or studying towards ACA / ACCA
- Strong accounts preparation and bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of VAT and personal tax compliance
- Experience using software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Experience preparing management accounts or supporting junior team members would be advantageous
