Are you a creative and hands-on designer with a background in furniture design? Looking for a role where you can bring ideas to life, from concept through to install, while working directly with clients in a beautifully designed showroom?

We’re recruiting for a Project Designer to join a growing team based in the heart of Clerkenwell. This is a full-time, office-based role working with bespoke commercial interiors, with a real focus on customer interaction and design-led problem solving.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with clients to design and develop bespoke furniture solutions for commercial spaces.
  • Taking projects from initial concept, site surveys and development stages through to production and final installation.
  • Hosting client meetings and design presentations in the showroom.
  • Supporting new business opportunities and building strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Getting involved in showroom management and wider team collaboration.

Tech skills you’ll need:

  • Proficiency in Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks.
  • Bonus points for experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Solid knowledge of furniture construction and materials (e.g. timber, veneer, MFC, solid surface).

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous design experience within the furniture industry – commercial interiors or similar is ideal.
  • Confident, outgoing personality – someone who enjoys client interaction and relationship-building.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a real enthusiasm for design.
  • Experience in customer-facing design, sales or business development roles.
  • Comfortable leading discussions with clients and managing project timelines.
  • Able to juggle multiple deadlines and keep things moving.
