The role involves supporting the Finance Director across planning, reporting, cash management and compliance, while working closely with operational teams to help them understand performance and make sound, data-led decisions.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning
- Month-end reporting, weekly KPIs and management accounts
- Analysing performance, risks and opportunities
- Supporting cost accounting and ERP processes
- Cash flow management and treasury controls
- Audit, SOX and financial compliance work
- Ad-hoc analysis to support operational and commercial decisions
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance
- Confident communicator who enjoys business partnering
- Comfortable in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong systems capability – Excel, PowerBI, Oracle or similar
- Someone who can balance detail with big-picture thinking
