PMLD – usually children with needs such as Autism, ADHD, complex/Physical needs, Down’s Syndrome etc, Non-verbal, Visual/Hearing Impairments.
SEMH – Children who have experienced ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), often have Foster Carers/live in residentials, suffer with regulating emotions and often suffer with mental health/managing behaviours as a result. Assuming this type of provision may interest more of your students, however, may be good for them to experience both.

On-site parking, Depending on age, rates of pay will vary, I can discuss all of this in more depth when they come in for interview. As a guide, 18-20 would be paid a minimum of £75.50 per day and a minimum of £92.50 per day for 21+. It is weekly pay, a week lying on.
The role is primarily about building a positive relationship with the students and having an engaging personality. We welcome anyone from a care background or support workers as personal care is sometimes required within our schools (more PMLD).
Ideally, you will have a DBS on the update service, or one issued within the last year. If your DBS is not on the update service, you will need to apply for a new one.
Work is generally on a long-term basis, Monday-Friday, hours 8.30am-3.30/4.00pm.
