Job Title: Recruitment Executive Location: Newton Aycliffe, HO plus travel throughout Northeast where needed. Reports to: Senior Sales Manager Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 Job Purpose: The Recruitment Executive is responsible for recruiting learners onto a variety of funded programmes including Short Courses, Unemployed Skills Bootcamps, and Apprenticeships. The role ensures eligible candidates are successfully guided through the recruitment journey — from enquiry to onboarding — while meeting targets, maintaining engagement, and supporting early retention. Key Focus Areas * Learner recruitment for Short Courses, Unemployed Skills Bootcamps and Apprenticeships * Matching candidates to live employer vacancies or appropriate training pathways * Driving learner conversion, onboarding, and early-stage retention Key Roles & Responsibilities * End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all funded programmes, ensuring consistent performance and high-quality learner onboarding. * Candidate Journey Management: Guide candidates from initial enquiry through eligibility checks, screening, onboarding, and programme start. * Sourcing & Screening: Identify and engage potential learners through proactive outreach, community engagement, digital platforms, and job boards. * Candidate Matching: Match learners to employer opportunities or training courses based on programme fit, learner aspirations, and eligibility. * Pre-Start and Onboarding: Complete all compliance, documentation, and induction requirements before learner start date. * Engagement & Retention: Maintain regular contact with candidates to support conversion and minimise dropouts or early withdrawals. * Reporting & Administration: Keep accurate and timely records using internal CRM and MIS platforms to support performance monitoring and audit requirements.
