Job Title: Digital Skills Tutor Location: Newton Aycliffe, HO plus Middlesbrough, Gateshead and Newcastle Hubs and travel throughout Northeast where needed Reports to: Senior Operations Manager Job Purpose: The Digital Skills Tutor will play a pivotal role in guiding and training learners through their learning journey. They will drive the successful delivery of the curriculum and facilitate engaging learning experiences whilst providing personalised support to help learners achieve their goals and contribute to the organisation\’s mission of providing high-quality courses. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. Key Responsibilities: Effective Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and interactive sessions, workshops, and Hub days, utilising a variety of teaching methodologies to meet the diverse learning needs of apprentices. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with curriculum development colleagues to tailor and enhance the apprenticeship curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organisational objectives. Learner Support: Provide individualised advice, guidance, and support to learners, identifying their strengths, areas for improvement, and career aspirations to help them achieve their goals. Develop and monitor assessments and assignments to measure learners’ progress and learning outcomes, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their continuous growth and development. Meet KPI Targets: Consistently achieve or surpass KPI targets related to learner progress, outcomes, compliance, reporting etc. ensuring the successful delivery and completion of courses. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and performance, and ensure compliance with ESFA regulatory requirements and organisational policies and procedures. Drive Successful Outcomes: Monitor learner progress and provide support, where needed, to ensure successful completion of EPAs and Milestones, facilitating positive learning experiences and outcomes. Learning Environment: Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation, encouraging learners to actively participate and engage in their learning journey. Qualifications, Competence & Behaviours * Have a minimum of 3 years occupational experience be able to demonstrate a high level of practical skill in the sector relevant to subject area. * Possess appropriate vocational qualifications and/or competency in digital skills, digital marketing, data analytics, social media content etc. * Hold or be willing to work towards relevant teaching qualifications e.g. PTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed etc. * Hold or be willing to work towards relevant assessing qualifications e.g. CAVA. * Have experience of training and/or assessing in an educational or workplace environment. * Good understanding of ESFA funding rules, EPA requirements, Skills Bootcamp Milestones etc. * Be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. * Demonstrate behaviour consistent with Company Values. * Share a current/be willing to undertake a DBS Enhanced Disclosure check. * Share references which are satisfactory to the Company. * Car user essential due to travel Company Benefits Health Cash Plan (after 3 months employment) which includes: * Get up to 100% money back on everyday healthcare costs. * Claim on dental, optical, chiropody, health screening, physiotherapy and more.
