Optimum Recruitment Group are proud to be working exclusively for an SME business based in Leeds who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager. You must be qualified with good PQE and ideally some commercial finance experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coaching and managing direct reports
  • Being a proactive member of the Senior Management Team, providing advice, analysis and insight to the SMT, to achieve our growth plans and budgets.
  • Manage the finance function ensuring all requirements are completed accurately and on time:
  • The preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  • Update weekly production revenue plan and forecast
  • Prepare annual budgets
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of updating financial records
  • Providing accurate information for the processing of payroll and create templates to calculate commissions payments
  • Ensure all suppliers are paid promptly
  • Complete VAT and other company returns
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts
  • Contribute positively to improving the financial and operating performance of the company through provision of Management information and finance KPIs, including creating client profitability reports.
