Optimum Recruitment Group have been appointed on an exclusive basis to recruit an Accounts Assistant for our successful growth client based in Leeds.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day transactional finance activity as well as assisting with all duties relating to financial and business reporting.
This role would suit either a recent graduate, an experienced accounts administrator or someone in the early stages of accountancy study who is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in with what tasks are required.
Your key responsibilities will include: Accounts payable - processing supplier invoices including preparing payments and requesting supplier statements if required.
Accounts receivable - producing customer invoices and monitoring payments to ensure payment to terms.
Preparing supplier reports showing return amounts and any amounts claimed for quality losses.
Review and interrogate customer commission reports to ensure customer invoicing is correct and capturing all POs.
Assist with monthly financial management reporting for both the UK and Italian entities.
