We are looking to recruit a Lawyer to join our client\’s exisiting team on a permanent basis.
The role will be fully remote, but there will be travel to client\’s sites both in the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities :
– Review, draft, and qualify a wide variety of contracts (MOUs, confidentiality agreements, partnership agreements, service contracts, operation and maintenance contracts, turnkey projects) and participate in their negotiations;
– Participate in monitoring the execution of certain contracts, particularly through certain contract management procedures;
– Review and negotiate parent company guarantees;
– Prepare legal documentation for responses to calls for tenders;
– Participate in the risk review process by identifying legal, contractual, and regulatory risks and providing support to avoid or mitigate these risks, and proposing innovative solutions to mitigate them;
– Provide expertise and advice in business law, both in France and internationally, to internal clients based in France and across all our subsidiaries;
– Participate in the creation of legal and tax structures in collaboration with headquarters; Propose schemes to internal clients that meet their needs;
– Monitor international and national litigation and pre-litigation;
– Manage external counsel;
– Participate in the updating and development of model clauses or contracts; – Prepare internal training modules on business law issues;
– Ensure compliance with corporate governance, support the implementation and rules of the code of conduct and all applicable ethical procedures;
– Monitor legislative and regulatory developments applicable to these operations.
With a postgraduate UK Law degree (Bac +5) in Business Law, you have at least 1 years of experience in a similar position in a firm or in-house company
Pre-qualified or newly qualified solicitors will be considered.
