The role of Field Sales Account Manager is to build on current relationships and establish new partnerships in the Primary and Secondary sectors. We are seeking experienced managers with a proactive attitude and a creative approach to building trusted long-term relationships. Ideal candidates will have experience selling into the healthcare sector, preferably within medical devices. Managing their own territory, they will collaborate with our nursing team to drive business through our Vyne DAC (Dispensing Appliance Contract).
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing accounts, including Primary and Secondary Care NHS Trusts, ICS, PBP’s, PCN’s, and Care Homes.
- Work within Integrated Care Boards with Continence Teams to gain formulary inclusion and collaborate with Continence Nurse Specialists and Care Homes to increase prescriptions in the community.
- Identify key opinion leaders and build relationships to promote the Optimum Package.
- Act as a brand ambassador, building trusted relationships through face-to-face meetings with Multi-Disciplinary Teams, procurement personnel, and key decision-makers within Trusts and ICB.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and initial contact to deal closure and after-sales support.
- Minimum of 1-year B2B field sales experience within Medical Devices.
- Proven success in new business development, negotiation, and relationship building with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong, persuasive personality with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to work independently.
- Understanding of the NHS operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in medical sales within Primary and Acute Care markets.
- Experience working with a DAC (Dispensing Appliance Contractor).
- Full clean driving license; travel across the territory and occasional travel to Leeds required.
