We are a well-established CQC-rated Good care provider with over 12 years’ experience delivering high-quality care and support. We currently provide just under 1,200 hours of care per week, supported by an experienced office and field-based team.

We support older adults, people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs, as well as children and families in some areas.

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager / Domiciliary Care Manager to lead our service, maintain excellent standards and support the continued growth of our care hours across Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of our domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care while maintaining full CQC compliance.

You will lead and develop the team, oversee quality and service delivery, and work closely with service users, families, healthcare professionals and commissioners.

You will also play an important role in growing the service by developing referral relationships, identifying new opportunities and helping increase care hours while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, legislation and company policies.
  • Lead, supervise, motivate and develop care and office staff.
  • Oversee care assessments, care plans, reviews and risk assessments.
  • Maintain effective quality assurance, audits and governance.
  • Recruit, train and support staff and manage performance.
  • Promote dignity, independence, choice and person-centred care.
  • Build relationships with commissioners, professionals and referral partners.
  • Identify referral pathways, tenders and new contract opportunities.
  • Support operational and hands-on duties when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in care management or a senior care role.
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding and adult social care.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car due to travel across our service areas.

Highly Desirable:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or working towards it.
  • Previous domiciliary care/home care management experience.
  • Experience with referrals, commissioning, tenders or service growth.
