Registered Nurse - Newtownards

Full time Registered Staff Nurse (Registered Nurse – Adult) to join Beverly Lodge Nursing Home.

Shift: 12‑hour nights (20:00 – 08:00) Monday–Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of nursing care.
• Plan and implement programmes of care in agreement with clients and carers.
• Maintain accurate records as per company and legislative guidelines.
• Direct ancillary staff and assist with personal care duties.
• Assist with staff training.
• Promote Primary Nursing and comply with company policy.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Manual Handling policies.
• Maintain good communication with resident families and multidisciplinary team.
• Attend staff meetings and training.
• Follow the NMC Code of Professional Practice and pursue continuous professional development.
• Participate in staff appraisals.
• Act according to company policy when Manager is absent.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC Register – RGN or RMN (Adult).
• Experience in adult care preferably with dementia nursing.
