Responsibilities
- Assist with personal washing, showering, bathing/bed bathing, dressing/undressing.
- Provide refreshments and light snacks.
- Promptly and accurately administer medication.
- Assist with practical support: light cleaning, fire lighting, shopping, dish‑washing, laundry, and maintenance of spectacles, false teeth, hearing aids.
- Assist clients to move safely using handling aids such as hoists and slide sheets.
- Provide care‑sitting service to give respite to other carers.
- Encourage and promote client independence, choice, and uphold client rights and dignity.
Essential Criteria
- Desire to care for vulnerable adults in their homes.
- Full driving licence.
- Access to a car and car insurance for business use.
- Own mobile phone for communication.
Shift Patterns
Day Shift: 7 am – 6 pm. You must be available to work weekday and weekend shifts.
