Overview
We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Burleigh Hill House Team on a Full time contract, working 3 x 12 hour nights from 8pm to 8am between Monday to Sunday per week.
Main Function of the Job
To work as a trained multi-skilled member providing various aspects of care to elderly residents. Training will be provided.
Duties
- Personal Care Assist with all daily living activities, for example, washing, dressing, toileting/incontinence and assisting with mealtimes.
- Kitchen All relevant kitchen related duties including basis meal preparation.
- Laundry Washing, drying and ironing duties
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
- Complete all paperwork accurately.
- Communicate regularly with the line manager.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as laid down by the company.
- Obtain NISCC registration before employment and maintain during employment
- Adhere to the NISCC Codes of Practice
- Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines.
- Ensure the confidentiality of residents, colleagues and the company at all times.
- Work as part of a team.
- Provide a quality service at all times.
Essential Criteria
- No experience necessary
Desirable Criteria
- Experience within a paid Nursing Home or similar environment to include personal care experience
- Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC)
