We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Energy Trading Analyst to join our team full-time based in the UK. This hybrid role involves a mix of data analysis, market research, and active trading to optimise our energy assets. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our energy trading strategies and contribute to the growth of our flexibility asset portfolio.
- Conduct advanced data analysis, utilising mathematical models, and contributing to financial modelling to support trading decisions.
- Analyse large and complex data sets, applying statistical methods to derive insights.
- Conduct market research and provide in-depth market analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Simulate Flexible Asset & BESS models to support data-driven asset dispatch and trading strategy alignment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain models to optimise energy trading strategies.
- Follow up on energy regulations and market developments.
- Achieve operationally profit trading shifts.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in mathematics for evaluating data and market trends.
- ~2+ years of hands-on experience in trading and developing trading strategies to manage dynamic market conditions.
- Understanding of finance and financial modelling to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software for data analysis and trading operations.
