About The Role
As a Rota Scheduler, you will play a crucial part in the smooth delivery of our supported living care service. This role involves developing efficient rotas, coordinating support worker schedules/rotas, managing new referrals, and ensuring that service users receive consistent and well organised care. This is a rewarding, fast-paced role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain support staff rotas using our rostering system
- Allocate support visits based on service user needs, staff skills, compatibility, and training
- Monitor capacity and support with business growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate, compliant records of staff and service user information, including absences, annual leave and training
- Manage changes to scheduled visits, including cancellations, extensions, and temporary amendments
- Identify recruitment needs in line with service demand
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all organisational policies and procedures
