About The Role
As a Core Senior Support Worker you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our supported living services, playing an essential role in daily operations and ensuring the highest standard of care for both individuals and the team. The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring services are delivered in line with care plans.
- Administering medication accurately and recording it as per company policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular checks and audits to ensure compliance with care standards and safety protocols.
- Offering guidance and support to support workers, ensuring they deliver quality care.
- Assisting with double-up work – providing support with two-person care as required.
- Completing handover and signing off PRN medication, ensuring effective communication during shift handovers.
- Providing additional support when needed, especially after challenging behaviour or restraint incidents.
- Supporting individuals outside their home, including in hospital, on holidays, or at a police station if necessary.
- Reporting directly to the Service Manager and ensuring effective communication within the team.

Role Details
- Role Type: Full Time – Days or Nights available
- Hours: 36‑48 hours per week (Flexibility to work every other weekend)
- Shift Patterns: Days (12 hours) – 3‑4 per week

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) highly desirable.
