Choices Homecare are seeking Care Assistants for our clients in locations across the Wakefield and Kirklees region.

Rate of Pay: £13.82 per hour

Flexible full-time and part-time hours available

What To Expect In This Role

  • Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00
  • We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week
  • Every Other Weekend Availability Is Required
  • This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile

What You Will Do

  • Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation
  • Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed
  • Encourage independence and support people with daily living tasks
  • Build positive relationships with service users and their families
  • Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs
  • Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
  • Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times
