Choices Homecare are seeking Care Assistants for our clients in locations across the Barnsley region.
Rate of Pay: £13.65 per hour

What To Expect In This Role
- Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00
- We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week
- Every Other Weekend Availability Is Required
- This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile
What You Will Do
- Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation
- Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed
- Encourage independence and support people with daily living tasks
- Build positive relationships with service users and their families
- Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs
- Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
- Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times
