About Optiml

Optiml is transforming real estate with Real Estate Decision Intelligence (REDI), an AI-powered decision technology that helps decarbonize buildings while optimizing asset and portfolio financial performance. Our platform helps investors, owners, and asset managers make clearer capital allocation and decarbonisation decisions by translating complex regulatory, financial, and technical constraints into actionable renovation and investment plans. Founded as an ETH Zurich spin-off, Optiml launched its first product in April 2024 and is now scaling across Europe and the US, with teams based in Zurich, London, and across Germany. The company is backed by leading US and European investors, including Innovation Endeavors, Planet A Ventures, KOMPAS, BitStone Capital, and The Bau Ventures. Following an oversubscribed €8M Seed round, we are accelerating product development and go-to-market execution.

The opportunity

Optiml already works with strategic consulting partners and selected software partners around shared clients. What we don't yet have is someone who wakes up every day to turn those relationships into pipeline. That's this role.

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you'll activate and scale existing partnerships into repeatable co-sell motions: partner account plans, account mapping, joint go-to-market campaigns, partner enablement, and, above all, partner-sourced pipeline. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, not an executive alliance position: you own the day-to-day activation of our partnerships across teams and markets, turning senior partner relationships into pipeline and commercial results. You'll work across Sales, Delivery & Customer Success, Product, and Marketing in a team of around 25; your results will be visible to everyone, including our founders. If activating partnerships energizes you more than writing strategy decks about them, this role will excite you.

Tasks

What you will own:

  • Activate consulting partners
  • Build partner account plans covering target accounts, key stakeholders, commercial goals, and expansion logic
  • Turn partner interest into active collaboration across their commercial and delivery teams, with a clear operating rhythm and regular partner reviews
  • Generate partner-sourced pipeline
  • Run repeatable co-sell plays with Sales: account mapping, access strategies, joint commercial planning, and pipeline activation
  • Tie every partner activity to measurable pipeline, account growth, and expansion — partner-sourced pipeline is your headline metric
  • Manage software partners
  • Build commercially useful relationships with selected software and workflow partners around shared clients
  • Spot where a partner strengthens Optiml's position in a client's software landscape and convert it into joint go-to-market activity
  • Enable partners to sell Optiml
  • Create joint propositions, enablement materials, and playbooks so partners position and sell Optiml with confidence
  • Coordinate joint marketing, events, and thought-leadership with Marketing where commercially relevant
  • Feed partner and customer workflow insight back into Product and GTM, and show the company which partner motions to scale

Requirements

Must have:

  • 5–8 years in B2B software with strong exposure to commercial partnerships, co-sell, strategic accounts, or partner-led growth
  • Experience in real estate, consulting, or PropTech — you know how these organizations work and can ramp quickly with our partners and clients
  • A track record of turning partnerships into pipeline, account growth, or strategic customer value — not only managing the relationship
  • Strong stakeholder management across partner organizations, customer accounts, and internal teams, with the structure to keep it all moving
  • Enough fluency in software and client workflows to enable partners credibly, without owning technical integration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in business English and business German

Nice to have:

  • Experience with consulting partnerships, alliances, or software ecosystem partnerships in enterprise B2B software
  • Experience working with institutional or enterprise customers in complex buying environments
  • An existing network in European real estate or PropTech
  • Additional European languages

Benefits

  • Competitive London base salary plus variable compensation tied to partner-sourced pipeline and account growth
  • VSOP participation, with details shared transparently during the process
  • The opportunity to build Optiml's partner motion from activation to scale — and shape how partnerships fit our commercial strategy across Europe and the US
  • Direct collaboration with founders and senior leaders across Sales, Delivery & Customer Success, Product, and Marketing
  • Progression based on partner-sourced revenue and the motions you build — not tenure
  • Hybrid setup in London, learning & development budget, and travel for partner and customer engagement
